Amber Adair is a singer-songwriter born & raised in Louisville, Kentucky. The only state that could keep up with her creative imagination and mysterious nature was the Bluegrass State. Amber has written a variety of songs and poetry throughout her years. After attending the New York Film Academy, she returned to Louisville. Amber realized she didn't want to act as a character or portray anyone but herself. She decided to borrow her brother's guitar & started writing in song format. Eventually things added up, then fell into place. Amber Adair professionally recorded her first album, "take Note." in early 2007.
2009 - The best comparison to the siren’s sound, and her life, would be that of a top spinning with no set course on where it might land. Although this spontaneous route of action is not best for all musicians, Amber Adair doesn’t want to limit her abilities by creating boundaries for herself. “I use music as brushes to paint whatever emotion I am feeling at the time. It's all just air.”
Her music can be described as either funky electronica with shimmy shakin’ beats or an acoustic euphoria one might encounter when partaking in the sound. Putting this together with her straight-forward lyrics and heart wrenching emotions, Amber Adair will deliver a performance and presence which is both reflective in your ears and permanent in your mind.
Currently she’s focusing on one aspect of her career at a time. Amber is still composing her second album, "dry Hussle." Her single of the the yet to be released album is ,"What I Say Do." The song is available for download on amazon, & iTunes. Right now there is no sure set list for the new album however, "What I Say Do," has received an immense amount of attention. While Ms. Adair finishes up her second album she does have a few songs to listen to for purchase on her MySpace.com & iTunes. Check out "Dream on," & "Neither can you" to trail off into relaxation.
