Amanda Lucas is a singer/songwriter from Louisville, KY. Throughout high school and college Lucas played at school dances and other functions. Now, she plays over 100 shows per year at some of the most popular venues/festivals in the state of Kentucky and all across the region. During her first year in the local music scene, she released her debut CD, “Half Empty.” (October 2008) Complete with catchy melodies and true-to-life lyrics; Lucas’ first release “Half Empty” has a song for everyone, no matter your taste. In September of 2008, she placed 2nd out of 300 entries in a female singer/songwriter competition on the popular website www.ourstage.com.
