About Aloud

“…rockin', melodic songs delivered by two powerhouse singers… magnificent tunes and serious vocal chops… they're damned near flawless.” – The Noise
Fiery rock n’ roll band Aloud is known for their two lead singers, tight male/female vocals, exceptionally strong songwriting, and energy-filled live performances. Lead vocalists/guitarists Jen de la Osa and Henry Beguiristain have been writing songs together since their early teens, and have crafted the passionate rock n’ roll sound of Aloud with bassist Roy Fontaine and drummer Ross Lohr. The critically acclaimed foursome are based in Boston, MA and perform regularly throughout the east coast and beyond.
Fan the Fury is Aloud’s sophomore album due out this March on the band’s own Lemon Merchant Records. The CD is the first release written by all four members of Aloud. Fan The Fury is an emotionally charged dichotomy of passionate rebellion and contemplative acceptance. Aloud delivers driving grooves and dynamic melodies wrapped up in themes of struggle, perseverance, injustice and love. From the forceful rallying call of the title track, to the frustrated anger of ‘Sometimes I Feel Like A Vampire’, the hopeful anthem ‘Backs to the Wall’, and the weary but enlightened affirmation of ‘Justice and Forgiveness’, Fan the Fury is a twenty-somethings’ coming-of-age reflection on a not-so-perfect world.
Aloud recorded Fan the Fury as a follow up to their 2006 release Leave Your Light On and their 2004 EP The Sooner It Comes.

Skip, skip, skip, skip, wild card, draw four, blue, draw two, uno, I win
The lot of us went to grab a bite to eat yesterday to celebrate Jen’s birthday, then proceeded to dig into a case of beer at home and play a hell of a lot of Uno.
Yes, that’s right. Uno. We only really played maybe two games, but it took for-fucking-ever to finish.
We took a look at some of the tour video as well… I can’t believe some of the stuff we caught on film haha… We’ll get all that up for you guys in some form soon.
Until then, up there’s a little video about how our new t-shirts are made. And send Jen some birthday wishes, eh?
Cheers,
Henry
