“…rockin’, melodic songs delivered by two powerhouse singers… magnificent tunes and serious vocal chops… they’re damned near flawless.” – The Noise

Fiery rock n’ roll band Aloud is known for their tight male/female vocals, exceptionally strong songwriting, and energy-filled live performances. Lead vocalists/guitarists Jen de la Osa and Henry Beguiristain grew up together and have been collaborating as songwriters since their early teens. The critically acclaimed up-and-coming group is based in Boston, and perform regularly throughout the Northeast, Midwest and Southeast.

Aloud’s sophomore album Fan The Fury is out now on Lemon Merchant Records. Fan The Fury is an emotionally charged dichotomy of passionate rebellion and contemplative acceptance. Aloud delivers driving grooves and dynamic melodies wrapped up in themes of struggle, perseverance, injustice and love. From the frustrated anger of ‘Sometimes I Feel Like A Vampire’, and the hopeful anthem ‘Backs To The Wall’, to the weary but enlightened affirmation of ‘Justice & Forgiveness’, Fan the Fury is a twenty-somethings’ coming-of-age reflection on a not-so-perfect world. Aloud’s hooky melodies, strong pop songwriting sensibilities, and soaring vocal lines shine on the title track ‘Fan The Fury’, a forceful rallying call to the downtrodden; ‘The Last Time’, an ode to loved ones separated by circumstance; and ‘When The Ants Attack The Queen’, a hard-rocking fantasy where the underprivileged reign victorious against an unjust status quo.

Aloud recorded Fan The Fury as a follow up to their 2006 full-length CD debut Leave Your Light On, and their 2004 EP The Sooner It Comes. Tracks from Fan The Fury have been broadcasted on over 100 radio stations, nationwide. Fan the Fury is available from iTunes, Amazon.com and at Newbury Comic locations throughout New England.
