Alice Klar is a show-stopping electro-pop duo bursting with energy, flair and attitude. He's a 6’ 7” German studio whizz and She's a 5’ 1” Scouser – a pocket rocket of an electro-pop star in the making! (The Stool Pigeon). Alice Klar have performed around the northwest in 2008 and 2009, tearing up the local electro and indie scenes and supporting Santogold and Ladyhawke at MTV’s Liverpool Music Week. Building on their local success, Alice Klar are now confirming gigs nationwide and are looking forward to causing a riot at venues such as Notting Hill Arts Club, Death Disco and independent festivals. Alice Klar intend to tour a few cities in Germany this year too. As a self-contained duo, the unlikely pair bring a whirlwind live show that is provocative, electrifying and ferocious fun! Alice’s insanely catchy lyrics and Klar’s block-rocking beats and loops have set stages alight at The Magnet, Korova, Alma de Cuba, Zanzibar, Sound City and MTV’s Liverpool Music Week. They are riding the crest of the current electro-pop resurgence and are set to share the success of contempory pop acts. They have a loyal following in Berlin and their contagious party-starter ‘Dsco Dance’ has been given heavy rotation by taste-making station, Fritz Radio. They’ve also received ongoing support from Radio Sputnik and BBC 6 Music’s Tom Robinson.
