Hi friends. I'm Alex Zander; a very recent transplant to southern California from Ohio. I am originally from New Orleans, LA and after floating in and out of many bands, I decided to do a solo project. The concept is basically that I write, perform and produce everything and create a fictional band. The first effort, which is finished and available for purchase, is entitled "Alex Zander Presents: Zander Drax and the Phantom Band." It is an indie/rock/pop/psychedelic effort that I recorded in Haskins, Ohio with the help of Firefly Studios. It is a full-length LP with 15 tracks; over an hour of music. I am the only musician on the record. The second effort is yet to be officially titled, but is finished and looking for a home. It is another full-length LP at 13 songs.
