Nominated for 2 Saskatchewan Country Music awards in 2010 and an album under his belt, Alex Runions is ready to take the country world by storm. Alex has been working hard for the last 7 years in the country music scene performing at a number of venues such as Craven Country Jamboree, The Pump Roadhouse and Casino Regina just to name a few. Runions has been receiving much recognition for his unique songwriting skills which separate him from many other artists in the country music world today....

Mellencamp or Seger could easily take this into classic rock territory…”- Bob Segarini, FYImusic.ca “I like this a lot; Saskatchewan's Keith Urban” – Factor Jurist From humble beginnings, growing up in the small town of Kipling, Saskatchewan, Alex has had a number of accomplishments over the past few years such as showcasing at the Saskatchewan Country Music Awards in 2006 and playing at the Songwriters Café in 2010, appearances at Craven and the Pump Roadhouse and a slot opening up for Brad Johner at a number of shows. Most recently, Alex was nominated for 2 Saskatchewan Country Music Awards in the categories of “Male Vocalist of the Year” and “Rising Star of the Year”. Alex will be the opening act for legendary country soul artist Ronnie Milsap this October at the Casino Regina. This is truly an honour for Runions as Milsap has been a musical influence on him through the years.
