About Against The Majority
Against the Majority, commonly referred to as ATM started in 2002, and has been shreddin' the hot streets of Phoenix ever since. With a strong fan base and a vigorous schedule they continue to deliver
fierce energy and undeniable presence both on stage and off.
Orinaly known as "All Too Much", legal problems forced them
to change their name in early 2006. ATM has pushed hard over the years, opening for various national touring acts in AZ, and touring up and down the west coast. Their perseverance paid off in 2005 when they landed a spot on the Warped Tour, despite the fact that they had no label to support them. It didn't take long for Bad Stain Records to sign ATM shortly after the tour and release their debut album, "Way Late and Waiting". The album quickly sold hundreds of copies, and ATM became well known all over the west coast. Their track "Dead and Gone" quickly became a crowd favorite and featured witty lyrics and a catchy hook that drills into your skull. The tune pokes fun at the problems MySpace has in the tech department, and fans seemed to be able to relate to the comical anthem. It helped boost sales for the album and gain recognition for the band. ATM has a unique sound all their own, with tight drums, beefy bass tones, strong guitar riffs and a distinct vocal style. Take everything you hate, everything you love...everything you
don't wanna know & everything you inspire to be all mixed up
in one sick package. ATM is against it all, not giving a damn what people think. They aren't in it for the cash. They aren't in it for the fame. They are truly against the majority.
