Moses later left the band because he was too busy, and planned to move to Ireland to live with his grandfather. A Dire New Hope was in desperate need of a bassist as their first show arrived. Alex Goering had some friends from other schools in the area that were fellow musicians. He talked to Ryan Dinyer, Prairie Village, KS. Ryan quickly learned the bass, and immediately decided to join the band. A Dire New Hope plans to go to The University of Kansas together, and continue to work together and play shows. Ryan and Alex Goering both left the band due to conflicting interests in styles. Then, in the winter of 09', Josh Poindexter sprang up to the idea of singing for the band. The band liked the way his voice fit with the alternative style in which the music was supposed to fit. Nathan Long also entered the band as the bassist in the winter of 09', and immediately got to work on learning all the bands music. ..
