About A City Heart

Portrait of A City Heart

Formed in early 2007, A City Heart is an online collaboration between Iowa native Dustin Kniffen (Counterfeit Maps+Stars, Ely Falls, Isles) and NJ-born Kris Keyser (SSF, Centipedes) that takes electronic pop in a new direction. Born out of a mutual respect for one another’s previous work, ACH writes, records, mixes, and masters every song across the internet from a distance of thousands of miles, and have to this day never met in person. Combining organic sounds and lush vocal harmonies with synths and beats, A City Heart evokes both sensitivity and the desire to dance, often within the same song. Their debut EP, If You Ever Had A Chance, Then It Was Now, has been turning heads since its release in the summer of 2007. With positive responses and label interest growing by the day and a new record in the works for a 2009 release, A City Heart promises to be a household name in no time at all.
