AJ&TAJs formed during the summer of 2009 by lead singer/guitarist Aaron Whisnant and drummer Kenny Hogan. Together, the two guided former bands “Dezeray’s Hammer”, and “Albert Hill” to moderate regional success by writing, recording, and producing 12 full length records (many from a cramped bedroom studio)! Following a 2006 split of DH, the two decided to take a long, overdue break from touring and recording. Inevitably, they became restless and their creative bond began to resurface. ...

After months of bouncing ideas, several recording sessions, and the additions of bassist (Jessica Ivey-Allen) and guitarist (Mike Burket), a record began to take shape. The new release is a 13 song collection of melodic/blues/rock delivered with a rhythmic southern stomp called Aaron James and the Adrenaline Junkees.
