When it comes to music Tshombe aka Truth Theory has always been in tuned; growing up on a steady diet of good music like Miles, Gil-Scott Heron, The Last Poets, and sister Bobbi Humphrey, he was cultivated well. So when he took to producing tracks for his debut album in spoken word it came natural. In spoken word and poetry he has been influenced strongly by the works of Amiri Baraka, Taalam Acey, Sekou Sundiata, Sekou (Tha Misfit), Ursula Rucker, and Shihan to name a few. I am self-produced and independent, bring you Kai Poetry.
