Landis formed in 2010 after guitarist/singer Anthony Cafiso, bass player Jeff Ludwig and drummer Dusty Norberg met while playing in a different musical project. Realizing they worked well together musically, they quickly formed Landis, writing music that was more rock influenced with singer-songwriter elements. Landis formed in 2010 after guitarist/singer Anthony Cafiso, bass player Jeff Ludwig and drummer Dusty Norberg met while playing in a different musical project. Realizing they worked well together musically, they quickly formed Landis, writing music that was more rock influenced with singer-songwriter elements. After a few years of writing songs and playing shows together the trio decided to hit the studio to record. Their self titled E.P. was recorded in 2012 and was produced, recorded and mixed by Jeff Berkley at Berkley sound in San Diego, CA. The song "You're Mine" premired on the Homegrown Hour on 102.1 KPRI with Cathryn Beeks and Jeff Berkley soon after. In the fall of 2012, Landis added guitarist/singer Ryan Satterfield to the line up. Now a quartet, the band is busy rehearsing and writing new music. A CD release party will be announced in the spring of 2013 and Landis will be playing shows to promote the new E.P. both in San Diego and Los Angeles.
