She is currently recording her third album in New York City and after a little soul-searching she has finally found her true voice. Having played the piano since the age of 3, Hannah Kelsy’s success has come from a combination of hard work, conviction and most importantly a love of music. In the summer of 2008, at just twelve years old, she was accepted into a summer program at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.
In 2009, Hannah Kelsy recorded her first all-cover CD “Meant 2B Me,” a prelude to her music career. While recording her second CD, “Where I Belong,” Hannah Kelsy spent much of 2010 commuting from her home on the east coast to Los Angeles. It was there that she filmed and a music video for her hit single “My Way This Time.” Hannah Kelsy also co-wrote and recorded four original soundtracks for the TV pilot “2 Cool 4 School.” She starred in the pilot as the character Kylie Cadence.
With twenty original songs to her credit - along with one TV pilot, two CDs and three music videos - Hannah Kelsy has already made an impression on industry insiders. Hannah Kelsy chose to remain an indie artist for now and relies on her own tenacity to keep herself advancing in the music scene. She is currently a high school sophomore and juggles her personal life with a schedule full of writing new music, distributing and marketing her products, and keeping in touch with her fans through various social media platforms.
As an Ambassador to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Hannah Kelsy debuted her song and music video “Not A Child” as a fundraising tool. The song tells a personal story of her five month hospitalization in 2009.
Hannah Kelsy is an inspiration to thousands of her fans. She wholeheartedly believes that they are responsible for her success. As a testament to her fans support, she devotes much of her time interacting with them at appearances and online, to thank them.
As 2012 quickly approaches, Hannah Kelsy is maturing and growing as an artist. As her experiences mount and her confidence grows, Hannah Kelsy is sure to light up the music scene in the New Year.
