A very familiar face in her home town of Warren, Ohio, this urban beauty is much more then a pretty face, she also has the brains to match her talent. She always has a song on her heart and is always singing where ever she goes. It wasn’t long before her talent would be discovered while working as an intern for one of Northeastern Ohio’s Hottest radio station’s Jamz 101.9, radio personality T-Luv took notice of her talent.
Shortly after, she teamed up with Western PA Producer, K-Town, where they grew to form the GMG (Genius Music Group) Production team. "As an artist, I definitely feel that I have come a long way from where I first started. I have always known that I wanted to be an Entertainer. I love performing because of, not only the feeling and natural high I get, but how accomplished I feel after I get off stage. Getting off stage exhausted, and hearing the crowd still screaming behind me is my fix(Lol) It's a beautiful feeling to me. As a songwriter, which is my true passion, I have learned to experiment and allow all of my feelings to just flow. At one point in time, I had so many emotions built up inside of me and was actually scared to let them out. One day, while in the studio with K-Town, he played this track that I was in absolute love with, I had it in my head what I wanted to say, but couldn't let it out. He said to me, "D, never be scared of your passion, it will help you way more than it will hurt you." That gave me so much strength and definitely helped me open up so much more to the hidden creativity inside of me. I am definitely continuing to grow and cannot wait to put out more music. Things can and are only going to go up from here. I am truly humbled and I thank God everyday for the people he has placed in my life."
Currently, Ms. Nicole is focusing on her growth as a songwriter, which is her first love. She has been working consistently with Ohio-Based Producer and newest addition to GMG Photo. Photo produced and also co-wrote on her newest hit single, "Stupid Cupid" in which she released in January of 2012.
Diamond Nicole has opened for numerous major industry artists which include Wiz Khalifa, Dorrough, Soulja Boy and Rick Ross, along with many other performances. Ms. Nicole was also a 2011 Nominee for "Best Female Vocalist" on the Ohio Hip Hop Awards Ballot. Over the last 2 years, Diamond Nicole has grown and developed her sound, along with exercising her extremely creative gift of songwriting. The Entertainment Industry is definitely getting to know Diamond Nicole and is waiting for her next move!
