6ixty persons formed in October 2008 and since then the hottly tipped Glasgow band have done their first UK tour known as the no barriers tour which saw them play a show at Polmont Young Offenders prison along with Dundee based band the Law. 6ixty persons formed in October 2008 and since then the hottly tipped Glasgow band have done their first UK tour known as the no barriers tour which saw them play a show at Polmont Young Offenders prison along with Dundee based band the Law. The tour also saw them headline Pop Mogul Alan Mcgee's death disco club night at notting hill arts club in London aswell as 5 additional London shows and a headline show in Dublin's Whelans venue. 6ixty persons have recently supported vertigos latest signing Kassidy aswell as being asked to support James Mcartney, Pauls son at his Edinburgh show. The band have recently finished their 2nd UK tour which saw them play shows in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester, London ,Belfast, Dublin, Liverpool's Sound City and more. The tour also saw them play a one off special show on Dublin's Balcony TV joining bands such as Biffy Clyro and Mumford & Sons. 2010 has seen the band go from a low level grass roots band to becoming one of scotlands up and coming bands. Their no barriers tour was a real success which saw them increase their fanbase and profile, since the tour the guys have been asked to play 2 extra dates at Alan Mcgee's death disco club night and Dublin and currently being considered for a major tour support.
