Pierre Massé

I was born in Toronto, Ontario, to a French father and Canadian mother. My childhood was spent between the two countries, whose unique musical cultures helped shape my approach to playing guitar, singing, songwriting, producing, and composing. I crafted my songwriting and guitar playing throughout my teenaged years, eventually creating The Final Year with three high school friends. I kept working on solo material, however, and in April 2010 I released a debut bilingual album of acoustic folk-influenced songs entitled “Situations”. I'm currently working on a new electro/house-influenced alternative rock album due out in 2012.
