Top 10 Latin Chart and 1st Place in Mariachi at Soundclick, May 2012 with the theme "El Chofer de Aquí" (The Here's Driver). 1st place at Musiguia, March 2012 with the song "Juan Pablo" (John Paul). 1st place in Rock in Spanish at Soundclick, December 2011 with the theme "Ay Princesa !!!" (Oh Princess !!!). Ranking # 1 at Reverbnation for Caracas, 2011 - 2012. Oscar, at least until age 49, was just a Venezuelan economist born on September 20, 1959, in San Tomé, Anzoátegui State. His Parents are also Venezuelan. In 1997 at age 38 started to sing karaoke in Puerto La Cruz, Anzoátegui State. Since then he really would feel a passion for singing and dreamed for stages and claps. In doing it would win first prizes in several informal karaoke contests. In 2008 friendly relations made him join a Portuguese club in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, where in June 2009 he would sing, as always, some karaoke songs. In this club there is a group of soloist-singers to entertain both club members and Caracas Portuguese community called “Estrellas Lusitanas” (Lusitanian Stars). Its manager invited Oscar to participate in the Annual Song Festival of the Federation of Portuguese Clubs of Venezuela "Feceporven" held on July 11, 2009 at another Portuguese Club in Valencia, Carabobo State, with the song "El Gorrión” (The Sparrow). This way, at his 49, Oscar would debut as singer. He would think his dreams came true, his enthusiasm increased and began his rehearsals every week with the group of soloists. With them Oscar would know the Portuguese music and became fan especially for fados. On November 20, 2009 Oscar received his first standing ovation when he performed in Portuguese language a fado called "Canoas Do Tejo" (Lisbon River Boats) which had won more than 2,600 views on YouTube as “Fado de Lisboa” in just the first year of broadcasting. On March 11, 2010 received an invitation to the “Chris Oliveira Show” on TV Plenitude, São Paulo, Brazil. On April 16, 2010, was interviewed by Fatima de Freitas on the program "Radio Arcoense” by Radio 1 Station 1340 AM, which airs for Lusitanian Colony in Venezuela. On September 2010 leaves Estrellas Lusitanas. Given that, he had to carry on alone the road and would produce and publish his songs and video clips on many prestigious Internet spaces. On April 2, 2011 Oscar is included in the most important musical blog of Venezuela "Las Mejores Voces Musicales" (The Best Musical Voices). Nowadays his songs in English are transmitted on different Radio and TV Stations in English speaking countries. The same occurs with his songs in Portuguese language in Venezuela and other countries where inhabit important Portuguese Colonies.
