P Money and Staxx better known as Moe Money Mafia (born March 22nd 1988) are an American Hip Hop Group. Hip Hop artists, song writers, and producers born March 22 1988, in Tappahannock, Virginia. P Money and Staxx better know as Moe Money Mafia is natural born superstars. They are already well on their way to music superstardom with their distinct voices, amazing delivery, and energetic music. Keeping the fans hanging on to every word as most fans have said. They were inspired by artists like Kris Cross. It all started with getting a jukebox with the MIC attached to it for Christmas. “I remember my twin and me taking our moms tape cassettes like Luther Vandross and Whitney Houston and recording our freestyles over them" says P Money. Their mother Lousie was the first to discover their talent. At the age of 15 they wanted to get serious about starting a music career. Late in the year 2003 started producing their own beats using FL Studio 3. Once they felt that their beats were ready their father Kenneth put them in the studio and they recorded their first song in April 2004. 5 months later released a compilation cd titled "Soulja Squad". Releasing a few copies to peers at school everyone recognized their talents and gave them great feed back. This fueled their choice to peruse making it big with producing music. The group they created was short lived separating in early 2005 continuing to produce music. During that time P Money and Staxx practiced more on producing better beats. Early in the year 2006 they returned back to the studio as “Lyrical Murderaz” recording “Work Dat Thang”. They performed the song at their first show at the VFW building in King Queen, VA. Weeks later they opened up for Chris Brown and a club called “G Spot” in Warsaw. Early 2006 they performed at club 321 in Richmond, VA. By June 2006 they graduated from Essex High. After graduating they had intentions to further their music career as planned but at the time had created more of a name for street hustlers than artist. Already consumed by the street life, P Money and Staxx put music on hold and started focusing more on fast cash by 2008 they were still busy running the streets of Tappahannock hoping to find the time to focus more on music again. Late 2008 they went back into the studio and working on “100 Rounds” which expressed how life was for them between the years of 2006 and 2008. By the end of 2008 they found themselves still spending more time in the streets than in the studio. Early 2009 they expanded their shows to the 7cities starting with Club Twist in Hampton VA. Knowing that their raw talent and dedication would pay off eventually they moved to Virginia Beach, VA around September 2009 to get away from the street life and to focus on their professional careers.
