I got the pleasure to write this song with my best friend of many years. I had been falling for this girl and I couldn’t quite find the words to put it all together. Fortunately, he was going through the same thing in his life. We talked it over for many hours and what started out as a simple melody, became one of the best love songs we had ever co-written. “It’s a place for her and I to love.” Really rang true to both of us.
