September Remembers

When I was writing this song, I had the idea of telling a story about 9/11, but from the eyes of two people in a relationship caught in the chaos. The final product captures the headspace and heartspace of the people in such a situation, as their immense love for each other struggles against their primal urge to survive and make sense of the destruction around them.
