A-West Bio: "A-WEST" is a native of Chicago’s sister city, Rockford IL.With music thats Captivating & a Impecable stage performance, A-West has shared the stage with many major label artists: Jeremih ,Raheem Davaughn, John Blu,Gorilla Zoe,Twista,The New Boyz, Tyrese ,(Willie Of Day 26), Dj UNK,L.E.P BogusBoys, Chingy,GLC, Huey, Chamillionare, Do Or Die, Reese(3piece) & Kosha Dillz just to name a few. A-West is making his way in the business, with hit after hit and shows no signs of slowing down, not to mention being sought after by several prominent labels. It only took a three track demo and a phone call from the President of Illinois based I.A.G. Entertainment to gain support from an influential Atlanta talent scout. A talent scout, who happens to be the uncle of Grand Hustles own T.I. The demo was more than enough to motivate him to catch a flight to the mid-west and meet A-West in person. A-west was signed to NodFactor Records under a management deal with Angela Richardson , the woman who got the artist Huey (“pop lock & drop it “)signed to jive Records . His ability to make or produce hit tracks, has attracted various promoters, investors and management teams and opened many doors for this mid-west hit maker. Having worked with 5SE/Grand Hustle’s Rich kid Shawty, Lil Twist's Hypeman Yung Stet, Chicago’s Sly Polaroid, GrindTime battle rapper Fresco and producer T-Berry (who has worked with the likes of Rick Ross, Plies, Trick Daddy, EightBall , & many other stars.) A-west was even Interviewed by Violator Dj’s Dj Triple xxx, debuting his mixtape single “Do Da Knee Juke” on 105.9 Radio Station in Madison wis, and is constantly on Power 106.3’s 10pm-2am mix with Dj JumpOff & Dj craig D. A-west has also done work in promotion & marketing for big name industry artists. He was the Promotional Manager for street team promotional campaigns for Ne-Yo(Def Jam recording artist) & Pretty Ricky (Atlantic recording artist) Concerts in Rockford il.
