Back The Same

Back The Same started to take root about a year before I moved to Nashville. It's a song about the "big con" a lot of us play when something is really over... the con that makes you believe it's not. I spent a good two years dragging that thought with me everywhere I went... the thought of a pilot light igniting some remaining flammables. I wore the denial out. It even traveled with me through other relationships, which obviously led to their failure.- Josh
