Something to Fight For

Ayo is a singer-songwriter based in Colorado, who’s learned from jazz greats like Ellis Marsalis, and shared the stage with Peter Eldridge of The New York Voices, bassist/singer Esperanza Spalding, and members of Tower of Power. She released her independent EP, "Hearts, Words & Other Forgotten Things," in 2009, mixing her love for the complexity of jazz and soul with the honesty of folk and roots music. She has carved a niche for herself as a vocalist with prowess beyond her years.
