Girl in a Cage

"Girl in a Cage" was inspired after reading a heartfelt letter written by Ram Dass to a family who had recently lost their young daughter. The anguish and grief that they experienced was overwhelming. This teacher addressed their pain and assured them that as much as they wanted their daughter back, and longed to have her in their arms again, she had done her work on earth and was now free. That she had "left the stage." This powerful letter affected us deeply, and inspired this song.
