Autumn's On Its Way

Autumn's On Its Way was inspired by a friend who is raising 5 boys and a herd of horses alone. Although the song is set in 1880's western America the woman in the song could be any single mother in world, with a fierce focus on her children, but a longing for her romantic souls fulfillment. Major Mitchell, a western historical novelist, was moved to write a full length novel based on Autumn's On Its Way, due to be released in March of 2009.
