There once was a man who had a plan, his name was Stew but everybody called him Gary …………....and he liked to get high as fuck. He went out west to find the best weed that anybody ever smoked and then……………..he came back. He brought back a couple pounds of purple haze and we were all in a daze for a couple of days. Wake and bake smokin’ all the day away….I prolly forgot my name. Chorus: We’re gonna blaze with the haze. We only got enough to last just a couple of days. For almost a week Gary was the shit, everyone came on by to take a hit….or two or three…and so did I. Then one day I floated by to Gary’s abode and there I stood and cried .......cuz all the haze was gone. Gary declared in a powerful voice, “I ain’t got no other choice but to pack my bags… and head on back to the land of dreams and score more purple haze down on the scene.” Chorus: Cuz we wanna blaze with the haze. Many a moon did come and go, our world turned from sunshine into snow… ……….and we bitched about the cold. Then one day in the middle of spring, someone said they caught a whiff of somethin’ good…on the wind. Just then Gary came over the hill, floatin’ on a cloud of peace and good will.
