Description
This song is about a ficticious soldier and his/her loved one describing how much they support and miss him/her. It also highlights the sadness of war and the naivete' of youth. As a Vietnam War veteran, I felt it was something I had in the back of my mind to sing about someday, and these words came to me recently. It is written in C# (half-step detuned - single drop D).
