Description
The lyrics to this song were originally by my father as a poem for my mother back when they were in high school. They split up when I was four. When I was eighteen, my mom found the poem in a box. The song came to me as I was reading the words.
Lyrics
Verse 1 Living just ain't living when you're doing it alone And everywhere i go i find my mind takes you along At night I sleep on my side with the life you left behind Maybe tomorrow I'll find my peace of mind Chorus Maybe tomorrow the sun will rise a different way Maybe tomorrow I'll find what I was looking for today It's like an old time melody It renews a faded memory Maybe tomorrow your love will set me free Verse 2 I still go down to the place in town Where I should be having fun But a crowded room is a lonely tomb When you're dying for someone If I though it'd help I'd take myself Far away and hide Maybe tomorrow I'll find my love had died
