Shaw's sound is a feel good cross between Cyndi Lauper and Lucinda Williams. A little bit pop, a little bit country, and a whole lot of passion. Her live show gets people's feet tapping but also gives their hearts a soft place to fall. JOEY is a playful Bo Diddley throw back that uses gritty imagery to describe how the "pretty boy" we fall for doesn't always grow up to be the man of dreams.
