Description

"Pirate in This Town" is about wanting that one last shot at fulfilling your dream. My dad played minor league baseball for the pirates in the mid 50's and gave up a chance for the majors, to take care of his family. He traded his bating helmet for a Hard hat at the mill.. A heart breaker but but has a wonderful tight family because of it.. This One's for him!

Lyrics

I suffer from some form of Depression For which I have been self Diagnosed I don't need someone-else to tell me That my boat is barely afloat Cause by now I should be sailing into Cancun But my Starboard side is worn and run aground And these winds of Change have tore my sails to ribbons And there's no needle or thread to be found And the only thing that makes me feel I'm ok Is that I'm not the only Pirate in This Town I made a laundry list of bad decisions That'll haunt me till the day I die And there those old foes that still owe me A tooth or an eye But I pray it's not to late for redemption Cause my cannon's armed and it lays in wait to sound Ya I still have some Fight that is left in me Left in the only Pirate in This Town So here I stand on board to face it The stars ahead of me the sun behind The warmth still comes from where I left it It's getting dark but I'm not blind Cause by now I should be sailing into Cancun With my cannon's armed they lay in wait to sound Ya I still have some fight that is left in me Left in the only Pirate in this Town
