The regulations were abandoned back in ‘29 Now the air is so bad it burns your eyes “Stronger laws are needed!” they screamed and cried, But no one acted, they just watched it all die! So the acid rain washed into the lakes and streams Killing the fish and my children’s dreams Soaked into the ground and destroyed the trees It was known as the “Great Falling of the Leaves.”
