Lyrics

Started Changing my ways, so to save myself I went back to the town where my past played out. That small place will consist of canvases on which I will paint my revisions on the streets I dismissed as a kid. You hate this town, but give it some time. We were way too young, now we’re border-line wise. Here where I grew up, I return and confide In back road turns and broken side street lights. I’ve been saying hello to homefront I’ve been saying hello to homefront Take the roads our younger selves once walked I’ve been saying hello to homefront. Reconnect the ties. Old friends and the comfort where my family lies. I know I said I hate this town, now I’m inspired. The band is back together, citizens are alive. You love this town, but miss the girl in your arms My band is back and they’re playing our song. There’s a downtown coffee house calling us out, where we traded old stories and discussed all of our whereabouts. I’ve been saying hello to homefront I’ve been saying hello to homefront The other side- I’ve seen more than enough of. I’ve been saying hello to homefront. I’ve been saying hello to homefront I’ve been saying hello to homefront Maps and signs that lead to the same spot. I’ve been saying hello to homefront. (There is something inside me that keeps me consistent with stories of late nights and our tunnel vision. This town won’t let us burn out or leave it.)
