For the Weekend is a song I wrote back in college. The guitar part came first and the rest followed. I wrote the lyrics at a pretty even flow, not really knowing what I was talking about. Turned out, the song is about two people hanging out at the beach. One simply wishing that the other will forget about everything and simply be with them for the weekend. Hence the name of the song.
