this is a little blues rock with a touch of funk. I love to write fun lyrics making fun of myself, and others my age... My influences are kinda bluesy, growing up listening to Clapton, Allman Bros., Clearance Gate Mouth Brown etc.

Poor Me, Pour Me (another drink) vs. 1 I woke up late, and then I stubbed my toe, went to the bathroom and the toilet over-flowed. Got a flat tire and I ran out of gas, you could say my day was going down-hill fast. I really, really really wish this day would end I've got some other more important matters to attend, (chorus) CHORUS: Poor Me, Poor Me, Poor Me, poor poor me Poor Me, Poor Me, Pour Me, another drink. vs.2 Well, I got a bum knee and my hair is turnin' grey, I have to wear my bi-focals every day. Every time I take a little trip out of town, I have to be back before the sun goes down. And when I get home it happens every time, I can't fight the urge to go to bed by nine. (chorus) I hate to complain, but I gotta get it off my chest, the things that happen to me every day, make my life a mess. My back hurts, my feet ache, I burned my supper bad, when the day is finally done, I'll feel real, real glad. My dog died my wife left, my body oder's strong, Listening to me carry on, it sounds like a country song! (chorus twice)
