I wrote this song a few days after a close friend passed away at only 40 years old, leaving behind a wonderful wife and three beautiful children. Being a husband and father myself, it is written as a conversation between a husband and his wife 32 days after she has passed away. They discuss their children and friends and how they will be strong and move on but never forget them.

Day 32 (Verse) Good morning Sweetheart, its day 32. It’s time to get the kids out of bed and get ‘em off to school. I try to keep them busy to help keep their minds off you. Me, I just take it day by day and its day 32. (Verse) Later our old friends will stop by and they’ll ask me how I feel. I’ll just nod my head and smile because the pain is still so real.
