Sonata "Pathetique" by Ludwig Van Beethoven This is the second movement of the sonata. This is also called "Adagio Cantabile". Adagio for slow and Cantabile or song like. The whole piano sonata was published in 1799. Beethoven originaly wanted to name it "Grande Sonata Pathetique" I believe. Some people debate that it was inspired by mozart sonata K 457.
