Description

I wrote this song from personal experience. Nearly everybody goes through a time in their life when the love just goes and sometimes it can be so hurtful. The thought of having to say goodbye can be so painful even though you know its for the best in the long run.

Lyrics

Not There Anymore Verse 1 Lying in bed Thoughts in my head With all these feelings but now nothing is real What once was there Beyond repair My heart is broken but has nothing to feel Oh and I guess there’s no one else to blame but you and me And the picture postcard life we had has gone How I wish that I could end the pain inside of me And say to you Chorus It’s just not here anymore We’re not the same as before Instead of fighting for survival I’m seeing you as my rival Verse 2 It used to be Just you and me We’d sit together till the break of the day But what was before Is now no more Happy memories have now are fading away away No I don’t want to turn the clock back time is standing still We can’t paper over cracks that run so deep Now with sadness in my voice and pain inside your eyes There is just one thing that we both know is true Chorus It’s just not here anymore We’re not the same as before Instead of fighting for survival I’m seeing you as my rival There’s nothing else we can do Because there is no me and you And though it’s the hardest thing I’ll ever have to say Its just not here anymore Middle 8 And what we had yeah it will always be there And if you need me you know that I’ll always care For you!!!!! Its hard we know to say goodbye to something held so deep in our hearts It’s just not there anymore Chorus It’s just not here anymore We’re not the same as before Instead of fighting for survival I’m seeing you as my rival There’s nothing else we can do Because there is no me and you And though it’s the hardest thing I’ll ever have to say Its just not here anymore
