This song was written in January '09 after seeing Slumdog Millionaire in the theaters. The song was about how miserable the things we love can make us. I likened my life as a full-time musician to the chaotic, love-infused pursuit of the main character in the movie. He goes through so much to finally get to the woman he loves. Its a beautiful movie that describes the story of all our lives. The pursuit. "There's something about the journey that makes it sweeter when you find me."
