Diesel

'Diesel' is a song by Steve Haberichter, of Leadfoot String Band. it's about a freight train coming down a mountain pass that flies off the tracks, starts a forest fire and burns down a town. Inspired by a park ranger who said forest fires can be caused by braking trains heading downhill. It's done in the LfSB acoustic style with fast pickin' solos and fiddle evoking the lonesome train. The slow/fast format fits the overall feeling of the tune, following the train up, and then down.
