People criticize me everyday, they say I'll never be good enough to play on a stage...those people that criticize have never seen the fire the glows in my eyes. I've seen so many things, most people will never see and I can't believe it's real.....so I tell them go to hell, because that's where you're going to end up anyway, if you don't feel how I feel, ohh ohh....You gotta care a little more about your brother, you gotta love your mother. You can't be a fool these days, time's running out, no time left to play. It's nothing but a battle in my head, I keep on trying sometimes I lie in bed, eyes wide-open, I can't sleep a wink these days, it's not the things I'm doing, it must be the things I SAY. So I SAY to all you people out there complaining, everytime the sun keep shining, you want it to start raining. When the rain comes you say I wish it'd go away, so that sun can come back and we can wish it all away again. I don't think anybody will ever be truly happy, til they figure out life is good, life is grand. Until then we got a bunch of pissing and moaning. That's why I like to call you my friend, cuz you see, you see what I see. We can get over anything. You understand what I do and with that power in our hands, we can change things, we can change things, we can change things, so simple it seems....we can change things, we can change dreams....so simple in my mind it seems.
