I co-wrote this song with my mom about a guy who has never been a drinker, well, until his woman left him that is. He found his new home at the bar, while thinking about her (which is where "Now I spend my time with you down at the bar" derived from) turning him into a drinker. So I came up with the idea of "Drinkin' Myself To Drink" as a nice hook. Everyone that has heard it so far loves it and I hope all of you listening will too.
