The Tragic Tale of Maggie Donovan

In the summer of 2009, I was asked to join the cast. "The Tragic Tale of Maggie Donovan" came to me after performing in the show, and a cross country drive across to the Telluride Bluegrass Festival. As i crossed the Mississippi, i wondered if it was hope for a better life, or despair for their current situations, that lead pioneering women venture blindly into the world, west of the river.
