Blessing in Disguise

The first time I fell in love, I was really young and naive, and had no idea how to go about having a relationship. In my youth and ignorance, I allowed the man to pursue me for 2yrs., taking things slowly, on the advice of the leaders in my church. Unfortunately, by the time everyone else thought the time was right, he had already fallen in love with someone else, who he later married. Writing this song helped me through the healing process.
