Description
To me, Fragments is a song about putting the pieces of your life together and trying to move from a dark place to a lighter one. On a technical basis, I mixed synths with live instruments to create a trip hop influenced sound. I hope you like it.

Fragments form a circle from darkness, Form a sparkling, crystal ball of sound, A thousand quiet, little explosions, Filling up your ear to the ground, I wish you hadn't gone to the light side, Should of stayed where you were in the dark, Stayed with me under the moonlight, Where the animals can't rip you apart. These fragments will burn a hole through your brain, Causing a chain reaction, A thousand tiny quick contortions, They're like mini fright trains, Like poison rain. The emperors invade the fortress, An arrow punctures chips in your skull, I said I'd never go to wasteland, But I swear the gods have told me so. I swam to shore, The empire will fall. I'm not sure of the future or the past. All we really have is now, Fragments falling all around, Fragments form a wall of sound, The only way out is down. And now we're gone, Like the fragments we started from.
