Description
I wrote this song about 14 years ago and it is real life. I was sitting in my yard on a sunday afternoon and observing what was going on and composed these lyrics.
Lyrics
Laying outside in a cool summer breeze The birds are singing love songs up in the trees The barbecue is cooking my dinner for me. It's Sunday afternoon and I ain't pleased Because tomorrow it's Monday and that takes the weekend away. The kids are in the pool and having a ball It won’t be long its goanna be fall I’m felling bad just felling this way. Sometimes I wish summer was here to stay. Well give me a drought yea 90 degrees You will see a man who is really pleased With summer. You know he loves each day Sometimes I wish summer was here to stay. The flowers are in bloom and the grass is green. I’m laying in this hammock just to dream and dream Of summer of summer and me. You know he loves each day Sometimes I wish summer was here to stay. Well give me a drought yea 90 degrees You will see a man who is really pleased With summer. You know he loves each day Sometimes I wish summer was here to stay. Sometimes I wish summer was here to stay.
