This song combines a few different memories; it's not all about one relationship. Most of the song was inspired by life in Brooklyn with all my crazy friends -- painters, writers, dancers, aerialists -- and our madly romantic times in the city. The other half is about what to do with the memorabilia from a failed relationship -- the stuff you find in the back corners of your junk drawer just when you think you're finally over him.
