Imagine (John Lennon cover, NYE live 1986)

It was New Years Eve, 1986. Our bass player approached me with an idea to do the song Imagine once we had played Auld Lang Syne to ring in 1987. He thought it would be a good tune to play to send his own message of hope for a better world. It was recorded on a cassette tape, one take only. Of course not the greatest audio quality but a bit of a magical surprise moment that caught everyone off guard. One of my fondest musical moments with a message that still applies today....
