Description
When we recorded the lead guitar track for Don't Say Anything, I told Rich Flynn to think "Eighties". We did a couple takes and when we sent it off to Ohio for mastering, Mike Bowshire used both, hence the dueling guitar lead at the end of the song.
Lyrics
It was a day like this we - Ran in the grass Our parents were wond’ring where we were - 'Cuz we skipped mass Church was so very boring - We were rebels Perched on a blanket on the hill - You’re beautiful Don’t say anything, don’t do anything I want to remember you like this Don’t say anything, don’t do anything Forever we’ll be like this , yeah... Laying up on the roof at night - We counted the stars It was just after Two A.M. - When they close the bars I hope that they never find us - You’re my best friend I want us to be together - Until the end Don’t say anything, don’t do anything I want to remember you like this Don’t say anything, don’t do anything Forever we’ll be like this , yeah... Makin’ shapes out of the clouds – The beating of your heart so loud Don’t say anything, don’t do anything I want to remember you like this Don’t say anything, don’t do anything Forever we’ll be like this , yeah... Don’t say anything, don’t do anything I want to remember you like this Don’t say anything, don’t do anything Forever we’ll be like this , yeah...
