It's Been a Long Time

More true to life than I realized when I'd written it, this song goes right to the heart of the dark side of my musical stylings (a place I really love to swim around in)! Part of my weekly songwriting project for this year (where each week I write a song, record a video of myself performing the song, and then blog about the writing process), this song spoke to me very visually and inspired a full out music video instead of the typical me-in-my-bedroom-with-my-guitar deal.
