Miss You

When I was in high school, my mother's best friend, a woman who helped raise me in my early life, died of colon cancer. At the time, I had no idea how to show my emotion for this terrible occasion; I was just a teen, and I thought it wasn't appropriate for men to cry. A few years later, in college, someone reminded me of the sadness I held back, and I had to write this song.
